- In menu bar click Video->Source->
- uncheck "Use OpenGL hardware acceleration"
- click ok

Virtualdub Black Screen in Capture Mode
There are many reasons you could get a black screen although this worked for me. If you are getting a black screen in the Screen Capture mode of virtualdub try the following.
